Quick Matte Painting Practice - Pirate Ship / Evening

The latest paintings took a far less time than how long it would usually take me but I would also make a note that they are seriously unpolished and are also incredibly simplistic. The reason behind that is because I needed a change as I would spend a few days, even a week or two, on a single piece of work and find myself obsessing over minute details and experimenting with other methods. What can get frustrating is when it's not turning out right and you've been seeing the same thing over and over again. Details are important to matte painting, however, improving efficiency rather than just quality alone is important and something I should try to practice more often.
